Hi everyone! It’s George here from Maldonado Bistro.
Normally I prefer to take the back seat and let Maldonado be more about my team and our guests. But due to the extraordinary circumstances I felt it more appropriate for you to see the man behind the message. As we say, you get to hear it from the horses mouth!
The Malta Tourism Authority have just inspected our premises and I am happy to confirm that all protocols have been implemented and we are ready to open.
Therefore, we are excited to confirm that Maldonado Bistro will be opening once again as of tomorrow, Friday, 29th May.
It has been a surreal time seeing Maldonado closed. Soulless. To be honest I was quite amazed when I checked… We have been closed for the past 11 weeks. It has been a challenging time.
And we also sympathize with the struggles of our colleagues in the tourism industry. In Gozo, Malta and beyond. But I hope together we can now recalibrate the little good we can do and help guests rediscover the joys of going out to a restaurant. Slowly… and responsibly.
We will be opening for dinner all week from Monday to Sunday. Reservations would be greatly appreciated as it helps us plan the evening and our week.
For now, though we will not be opening for lunch. But then again there is no harm in reaching out if you might want to make a request.
You can easily reserve as usual through our website, Facebook page, e-mail or basically with a simple phone call.
We also understand that some of our previous guests might still be uncomfortable going out to a public venue. We respect that. Therefore, we are making parts of our menu available for take-away.
We hope to have the privilege of serving you soon at Maldonado Bistro.
Thank you for your time and attention.
